FORMING

MACHINING, ROLLING, BENDING, SPINNING

 From floating 0.25" thick aluminum ribbons and free form solid rods to 10" stainless tube bevels, no forming project is too abstract for EES Design Studio. Marrying old school fabrication techniques with innovative technologies we are always up for a challenge.

MACHINING

 Full machine shop including large band saw, 6ft lathe, Bridgeport and CNC machine for cutting wood, plastic and aluminum both 2D and 3D capabilities. Machining is a prototyping and manufacturing process that creates the desired shape by removing unwanted areas from a larger piece of material.

ROLLING & BENDING

8' Cole-Tuve hydraulic plate roller works by pinching the metal between two rolls and curving it as it comes in contact with the third forming roll. With an experienced operator this process curves the metal into the desired conical form.  

 
75 ton x 6ft mechanical pressbrake is used for bending sheet and plate material, most commonly sheet metal. It forms predetermined bends by clamping the workpiece between a matching punch and die. 

SPINNING

 Our 3D CNC routing capabilities allow us to create molds of just about any shape for metal spinning.  Metal spinning, also known as spin forming or turning, is a metalworking process by which a disc or tube of metal is rotated at high speed and formed into an axially symmetric part.
